Art and Books at [A] Space

From May 5th to 9th, [A] Space part-hosted the 5L Lisbon International Festival promoted by the Lisbon City Hall. The many visitors to this successful event got the first glimpse of Madalena Pequitos' installation of containers - objects like books, store, and carry stories and memories with them.

B O D Y B O O K

If you see in this particular place a group of people listening to a text that is being transmitted by four voices, and if you see them drawing words or sentences on a glass of water, you will know that they are selecting words they wish to memorize. They are listening to a text written by the Portuguese writer Joana Bértholo about the BODY.
